Wow, I just noticed he's very blonde now. I thought he was a redhead before!
You're pretty much right on both counts, since he's sort of a strawberry blonde. In this pic there's the lamplight, but in more natural light (as you'll see in a later photo) it leans more toward the strawberry color.
