This weekend, Casey and I will fly to a training he will attend so that he can train others for the Let's Start Talking program. It will be a very exciting weekend for that reason, but for me it is a big deal because I will get to see most of my family members that I have not seen in over six months! It will be a wonderful but all-too-short time spent together. I asked my mom last night if she is remembering that I will have shorter hair, and she said "No, I keep picturing it long." I cut about ten inches off my hair a month or so after we moved, and all they've seen are a couple of photos!
This visit is really going to be a blessing, and I am so thankful for it and for all those involved helping to make it work. It will make that wait for Christmas a little more bearable.
